Thank you so much for correcting the mistakes that the other dentist
made to my upper and lower bridges. You restored my bite. I went to
him because I was told by several people that he was the best dentist
in Quetzaltenango. I am sure most gringos went to him mainly because
he spoke excellent English. A friend of mine from Seattle went to him
for repair of two or three cavities in March before he returned to the
States. In his email to me in June he told me that one of the fillings
fell out. I wish I had known about you back then so I could have sent
him to you instead of the other nameless dentist. Your English is OK
but your dental skills are superior to that other guy. When someone
asks me for the name of a good dentist I will give him yours.

Hi Carlos & Jenny,
Sorry it took me so long to send a recommendation. As you recall, I
town for two months, March and April of 2005 for Spanish study and dental work. I brought with me my xrays and recommended work estimates from my dentists in Conn. and Arizona.
The bids were for approximately $23,000 US dollars. You did the same
for about 10 percent, $2,300 to include surgical extractions, cavity repairs, root canals, and caps attached to existing teeth.
My teeth look great and I have had NO problems. This was a great
to me, and the savings payed for a wonderful time in Guatemala, with money to spare.
I waited one year before making a recommendation to be sure their were
problems with the work, and thus add credibility to the recommendation.
Thank you again for the wonderful dental experience. My recommendation
confirmed, and if anyone has questions please contact me at the email below.

To whom it may concern:
It is a privilege for me to write this letter of recommendation for Dr. Carlos Haroldo Del Valle. I have known Dr. Del Valle for a number of years. I was referred to him by another local dentist who did not perform the type of procedure that I required. He attended to me in a timely and professional manner. His services were also quite reasonably priced compared to many other dentists in the area.
I was the first member of my missionary group to use his services. Since that time, I have recommended him to many of my colleagues, who have also found his services very satisfactory.
In May of 2001, our family returned to the USA after 17 years of missionary service, but Dr. Del Valle is still our family dentist. Escalating prices of dental work in the States have made it easily justifiable to make the trip to Guatemala to have him attend to our dental needs. At our recommendation, several friends of ours have traveled to Guatemala for dental work at Dr. Del Valle's office and have returned with very enthusiastic testimonies of both the quality of his work and the money saved by making the trip. He has always gone out of his way to attend to our needs, fitting us into his busy schedule, and has proven to be a true dental professional and a good friend.
If anyone wishes to contact me for a more personal recommendation or to ask questions, please do so at the below e-mail address. I would be happy to help in any way I can.

Dear Dr. Carlos,
I am writing to thank you for the wonderful work you did on my teeth when I was there in Guatemala in January. I am very pleased with the your work. It was definately worth the trip down there. Ever since I came home , my family and friends keep asking me to smile so they can see how nice my teeth look ! It is really a big difference from before. I also want to thank you for your kindness. You made me feel less nervous. I felt more comfortable to know you can speak English. It helped us to communicate better. I would recommend your work to anyone who asked me .
Thank you again and God bless you.
